Honor an Educator Program
About Our Program
Finding a way to fully thank teachers, staff and administrators can be a difficult task. What would they like? What’s their favorite candle scent? Will my child remember to deliver it to them? Do I have time to go to the store and wrap a gift?
Look no further. The trustees of the Worthington Education Foundation are happy to provide a way for you to honor our outstanding educators in a uniquely meaningful (and simple-for-you!) way through the Honor an Educator program.
How It Works
Donations are accepted at any time (with holidays, Teacher Appreciation Week, and the end of school being the most popular times) by the Worthington Education Foundation in honor of any current or past Worthington School District employee. Those honored will receive a personalized certificate of appreciation acknowledging your gift, and their names will be shared with building principals, school administrators, and listed on the WEF website.

Choosing to recognize an individual through this program will honor that special person and support the mission of the Worthington Education Foundation – to champion future-forward learning within the Worthington school district by strategically funding innovative programs, supporting non-traditional learning approaches, and forging ongoing community support for our schools.
